Jesus Revealed To Children
Jesus praises God for revealing Himself to the innocent and oppressed and then proceeds to welcome those people to find rest in Him, because they are the ones Jesus chooses to reveal Himself to.
What Can the Righteous Do?
When challenged and confronted by evildoers, the psalmist reminds us that while the righteous cannot take matters into their own hands, the Lord will take vengeance.
Seek, Ask, Trust
Jesus is teaching His disciples to pray with boldness, trusting that God will hear and act.
What Is Man That You Are Mindful?
The psalmist is amazed and full of praise that God, such an all-powerful being, would be mindful of humanity, who seems so insignificant by comparison to the universe.
Feed My Sheep
Jesus returns after His resurrection to find His apostles returned to what they knew before: fishing. Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him more than fish. He asks three times, for each of Peter’s denials. With each affirmation from Peter, Jesus reminds him of his true calling—caring for Jesus’ believers, His sheep.
